Our products are coated with NC varnish, which provides protection against water damage for a short period, though it is not recommended to place them in damp or watery environments for extended durations, as bamboo is prone to mold in high-temperature, high-humidity conditions. The NC varnish used is a safe furniture coating, especially after the drying process, and is widely used for solid wood furniture. From production to delivery to our customers, our products take more than two months, ensuring the varnish has evaporated most of the solvents used in its production, rendering it harmless to people and pets.
If the entire product is made of bamboo, it can be painted, but some items have MDF parts that cannot be painted. Please refer to our product descriptions for specific details.
